Finch McCranie Partner David Bouchard Joins Leadership DeKalb Class of 2026

Atlanta-based trial law firm Finch McCranie is proud to share that attorney David Bouchard has been selected as a member of the Leadership Dekalb Class of 2026. The leadership program convenes and connects leaders, informs them on matters vital to the county, and enhances their leadership skills. Candidates for the program are chosen from a competitive pool of nominees and embody the spirit of collaboration and community impact that define Leadership Dekalb.

“I'm honored to be part of Leadership DeKalb's Class of 2026,” David said. “I'm excited to connect with other members of the class, to learn more about DeKalb County’s challenges and opportunities, and to find ways to deepen my impact on the community.”

Leadership DeKalb was founded by The DeKalb Chamber of Commerce in 1986 to educate community leaders and to address issues facing the growing population. In 1994, Leadership DeKalb became an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Since then, more than 1,600 community leaders have completed the program. Graduates of the program include CEOs of top public and private companies, as well as a large number of DeKalb’s elected officials, educators, judges, entrepreneurs, volunteers, and nonprofit leaders. This strengthened pipeline of talent immerses in the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors, thereby advancing quality of life in DeKalb County.

David is a partner with Finch McCranie, a trial practice firm with a long history of success in catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases, whistleblower cases, and federal criminal cases in the white-collar area. He regularly represents victims and families in catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases resulting from the negligence of others. David and his colleagues have recovered tens of millions of dollars for clients in cases involving medical malpractice, premises liability, and negligent vehicle operation, and he is among the nation’s most experienced attorneys representing sex trafficking survivors in lawsuits against businesses that benefit from sex trafficking.

An active member of the Atlanta community, David currently serves on the Advisory Board for The Posse Foundation Atlanta. David is a graduate of the LEAD Atlanta program, and he has mentored numerous law school students through the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity. He has also been called upon to lecture on trial advocacy and litigation strategy to law school students.

He received his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and his law degree from New York University School of Law.
