Antitrust Violations
Our firm is experienced in defending businesses
and executives in investigations of antitrust violations.
Three of the firm’s partners are former federal
prosecutors, who bring this experience to antitrust
investigations.
The United States Department of Justice Antitrust
Division has initiated several significant antitrust
investigations over the last several years,
including numerous corporations and executives
in the dairy and carpet industries. Our firm
has successfully represented corporations involved
in investigations and prosecutions of alleged
price-fixing. We have also represented many
executives and individuals who were called before
federal grand juries.
In dealing with these cases, our firm has worked
closely with the United States Department of
Justice Antitrust Division. We have successfully
negotiated on behalf of our clients the implementation
of “Compliance Programs,” which
have allowed our clients to avoid debarment, notwithstanding allegations of
serious antitrust violations.
In investigations of antitrust violations as in
other areas of white collar defense, the firm
offers potential clients “real world” experience.
